ABOUT
Max Stringer was born and raised in London and is now based in the south-east of the capital. He began his music career by playing the Euphonium at school for a few years before transitioning to the piano, guitar and bass guitar.
Taking influence from music from the 1960's to present day, Max has developed is playing style from listening to bands/artists such as Queen, The Rolling Stones, Metallica, Alter Bridge, Fleetwood Mac, Joss Stone, Gorillaz, Guns N Roses and many more.
Max completed a Diploma in Popular Music Performance at Tech Music School (now BIMM London) and then a BA (Hons) degree in Creative Musicianship, where he finally decided on the path he wanted to pursue in the music industry. Having played a variety of genres, Max now specialises in R&B/Soul, Rock, Country, Folk, Singer/Songwriter and even Electronic music. Some of the people with whom Max has played and worked with, will feature on some of his solo music.
Performing live at famous venues around the world has always been something Max has dreamed of and what a place to start than no other than the O2 Shepards bush Empire back in 2014 at the age of 18. He has then gone onto play The Good Ship (Kilburn), Nambucca (Holloway), Spice of Life (Soho) and Under the Bridge (Fulham) amongst others.
When it comes to songwriting, Max's influences come from mainly the Rock and Acoustic genres. Artists include: Newton Faulkner, Ryan Keen, Soundgarden, Deaf Havana, Gabrielle Aplin, Alter Bridge. His debut single was released on June 16th 2017 and the album soon to follow. As well as his solo career, Max is also a member of the Rock band, Heroes of the Last Age.
